Joyce is the Quality Assurance Manager at The George Institute, responsible for assisting researchers in achieving and maintaining quality research operations through the provision of policies, procedures, risk management processes and training

Joyce joined The George Institute in 2008 as a Project Manager, setting up the Australian Stroke Registry before moving on to managing randomised control and nursing trials, including a genetic study.  Prior to joining The George Institute, she was an accredited assessor, auditing health and community organisations and consulting to organisations preparing for accreditations.
