This is the protocol for a review and there is no abstract. The objectives are as follows:To compare the effectiveness of different interventions for rehabilitation following ankle fracture in adults. Effectiveness will be evaluated over the short-term and long-term time periods as changes in activity limitation, quality of life, patient satisfaction, and the impairment measures of pain, ankle range of motion, strength and swelling. The occurrence of adverse events will be sought to inform choices made by practitioners and patients/clients.
