The George Institute for Global Health UK seminars

TGI_Imperial

The George Institute for Global Health UK seminars run between 2.30-3.30pm on Wednesdays during term-time.

The seminars evolved from our journal club, and their content retains the former's focus on engaged discussion around, and dissemination of, research. The discussion scope of this forum has, however, broadened. Our seminars now include workshops on skills relevant to researchers such as: communicating your work with media outlets; using Twitter to boost research impact; the role of longitudinal data in medical sciences research, and more.

Our series includes seminars from staff at the institute and across the university, as well as contributions from guest speakers with interests in global health, and other stakeholders working at the intersection of research, policy and practice with the aim of improving the health of millions of people around the world.

All welcome. Please email our Communications Manager, abowbertrand@georgeinstitute.org for more information and to be added to the seminar listings mailing.

Recordings are made available shortly after the event. Follow us on Twitter @georgeinstuk with #GeorgeSeminars for live tweeting and to catch the recordings, and subscribe to our YouTube channel here
