Joining a team of high-profile international and national business and community leaders, these new appointments reflect a desire to further strengthen and broaden our expertise in philanthropy and business development.

Board Chair, Mr Mike Hawker, AM, said “Gina and Will are welcome additions to the Board of Directors at The George Institute. Gina’s professional, business, government and community acumen will perfectly complement the skills of the other board members and in particular will assist in the further development of the George Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the Institute”.

Ms Anderson will also have additional responsibility as a member of The George Foundation’s Fundraising Committee, bringing her wealth of experience and philanthropic knowledge to assist in the future fundraising pursuit of the organisation.

“Will’s expertise in the pharmaceutical industry and in particular his experience in the development of innovative medicines will be invaluable as the institute increases its focus on the conduct of research and the development of enterprises focused on innovative approaches to providing effective and affordable healthcare globally”, said Mr Hawker.

Mr Delaat’s extensive business skill will also be contributing to The George as a member to the George Health Enterprises Committee.

Both new members are excited about working with The George.
