George Institute researchers having global impact
Eighteen researchers from The George Institute for Global Health are in the top two percent most cited in 2019, according to an analysis of citations produced by Stanford University and published in the journal PLOS Biology.
Almost seven million researchers across all fields of science were classified according to 22 large fields (e.g., Clinical Medicine, Biology), and then into 176 subfields according to a standard journal classification system.
The final list includes all scientists who are among the top 100,000 across all fields. It also includes scientists who are not in the top 100,000 overall but are in the top two percent of scientists in their main subfield discipline (across those that have published at least five papers during the time period).
Congratulations to all The George Institute researchers included in the 2019 list below.
