One of the premier medical journals in the world has profiled The George Institute, calling it “one of the world's most renowned global health research institutions.”
The Lancet Medical Journal has published a research profile on The George Institute for Global Health, calling it “one of the world’s most renowned global health research institutions” and highlights many of the Institute’s successes over the past 16 years.
Founding director Robyn Norton spoke on why she and Stephen MacMahon set the Institute’s focus on non-communicable diseases and injuries.
“We wanted The George Institute to have its focus on both low to middle income countries, as well as resource-poor individuals and regions within high-income countries”
