Belinda is a research fellow with the Health System Science division and her work focuses on value based health care and evaluation of new models of care in Australia. 

She completed her PhD through the George Institute's injury division and UNSW in 2021. This research adopted a health systems approach to evaluate health care services and access for patients with chronic eye disease. Belinda has played a key role in the design, implementation and evaluation of the Western Sydney Community Eye Care (C-EYE-C) model of care as both a project manager, and through her PhD studies.

Prior to starting her PhD, Belinda has worked in a variety of research and service delivery roles with a focus on chronic and infectious, infectious disease, Aboriginal health, and primary care. Belinda has collaborated with Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations (ACCHOs) to design and conduct research projects which address the local needs and priorities of the community.
