Jane Elkington

Jane obtained her Master of Public Health and PhD from the University of Minnesota, USA. She has worked in the field of injury prevention for 25 years, in policy development, research and evaluation for NSW Health, and later as a consultant to a range of government organisations. Jane was a board member of YouthSafe for 18 years. She is currently working on a number of research projects across Neuroscience Research Australia and the George Institute for Global Health, including a randomised controlled trial on instructions to reduce errors in the use of child restraints and a population observation study in child restraint use. Jane is also a senior lecturer at New York University-Sydney.
