Dr Meena Thuraisingham

Meena is founder and principal at BoardQ, an advisory practice consulting in top team and board effectiveness with global clients in Australia, Asia and the UK. As part of her consulting practice she has been actively involved in leading major business change projects including restructures, acquisitions and divestments and the risks associated with any major business change.

Her former executive roles included ANZ Banking Group where she held several roles including Head of Human Resources, Corporate & Institutional Bank and Head of Performance Management. Her last role at ANZ was as Global Head of Leadership and Talent. Previous executive roles included Esso Australia where she held the roles of Remuneration Advisor and Development Advisor, PA Consulting and Hay Group both in Asia and in Australia where she held the roles of senior consultant.
 
Meena graduated from Manchester University in the UK with an Honours Degree in Psychology and has recently completed her PhD at RMIT University on the antecedents and moderators of board decision dynamic.

She is a graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, a member of the Australian Psychological Society, a, non-Executive Director, Shared Value Project, a member of the International Women’s Forum and a Board Member of Lindin Art Gallery, Victoria.
