M.A in Social Work (Disability Studies and Action)

Spoorthi Nidhuram is a Research Assistant in Sodium Reduction through behaviour change in India (SRII) project. She is responsible for assisting the SRII team in maintaining the project.

Spoorthi has expertise in assisting and managing data of projects, conducting surveys, interventions, and evaluations in both rural and urban settings of India. She has also worked in both governmental and non-governmental sectors within institutions and universities in sectors of disability, mental health, education, and health. Her areas of interest are gender, disability, mental health, social psychology, community level interventions, and intervention design.

Spoorthi holds a Master of Arts in Social Work specializing in Disability Studies and Action from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (Mumbai). She is currently pursuing her PhD in Social Sciences from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (Hyderabad).
