Centre For Sex and Gender Equity Launch 2024

The Centre for Sex and Gender Equity in Health and Medicine unites leading Australian researchers, policymakers, healthcare professionals, and people with lived experience to help address entrenched sex and gender biases in the healthcare system.

The Centre was established in partnership with The George Institute for Global Health, the Australian Human Rights Institute at UNSW Sydney, and Deakin University, with support from collaborative partners, the Victorian Department of Health and the Association of Australian Medical Research Institutes (AAMRI).
